Made in Berlin by BRAUN Lighting Solutions – simply better light.
The initial situation:
Ujazdowski Avenue in Warsaw is part of Warsaw’s Royal Route, one of the city’s oldest and most important transport axes, a centre for political institutions and embassies in Poland and the capital’s flagship. The boulevard branches off from Three Crosses Square directly to the south and soon turns into a park landscape, Lazienki Park. It is the largest park in Warsaw, laid out in the English style of the 18th century. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Europe and comprises several palaces, artificial lakes, canals and cascades, bridges, alcoves, pavilions, sculptures and an ancient theatre on the island.
The customer’s wish:
The existing historic gas lanterns along Ujazdowski-Allee were to be converted to modern LED lighting. The light colour was to have the appearance of gas light in order to illuminate the adjacent historical buildings in a familiar, warm light.
Our solution:
The conversion of the 25 or so historic luminaires was carried out very quickly with our His.lux Premium LED-Modulen. As requested, all our His.lux modules were designed in a GasLight look. Just as before, Ujazdowski-Allee now shines again in warm white light, but much more economically with our highly efficient LED technology. The clients were more than satisfied with the look, feel and high efficiency of the new lighting.
