The initial situation:

Europa-Park® is an amusement and theme park in Rust, Baden-Württemberg. With around 5.6 million visitors in 2017, it is one of the most popular amusement parks in Germany. Over a hundred rides, several shows and a cinema offer visitors a varied programme. The 950,000 m² park also includes five hotels, including the 4-star superior adventure hotel “Bell Rock”, whose management wanted a new lighting solution for the entrance area.

The customer’s wish:

Stylish entrance lighting was to be created at the main entrance to the Bell Rock adventure hotel to do justice to the magnificent building. The architecture of the hotel is modelled on the magnificent buildings of 18th century America. The stately exterior façade with its imposing columns was to be set in the right light in keeping with the style. At best, the look should be reminiscent of the aesthetics of old gas lamps.

Our solution:

Our extremely low-consumption historic LED luminaires from the Typ Alt-Berlin, which are modelled on the gas-powered original in terms of shape and lighting equipment. The luminaires are equipped with our His.lux Premium LED-Modul equipped. A BAMAG remote detonator housing with brass patent chain and pull ring round off the historic look.
With our His.lux Premium LED-Modul in GasLight optics creates that warm, cosy impression of an old gas lamp.te. The historic lights were mounted on matching wall brackets, which we also have in our product range. With these luminaires, we combine state-of-the-art LED technology in a “historical guise”.
